    We have great intentions when it comes to dieting but the best intentions don’t cut it if we do not follow through. It seems we always have some excuse or a way of procrastinating simple a decision although life changing they may be. What could be so difficult as to drop a few pounds or more, lack of knowledge on how to, lack of will power, fear or many other obstacles that are too numerous to count. I will say that many so called “fad” or whatever category they fall into “diets” seem to offer quick solutions and fast acting etc, etc. Dieters have so many things or programs to look at when it comes to weight loss, I like to compare them to trying to find a cell phone provider with the minute and extras package that is right for you, way too many choices. Sometimes we make it more complicated than we need to in order to lose the desired weight. Do you realize that if we just wanted to drop 20lbs over 90 days that it’s only about 1.7 lbs a week. How hard would you have to try to lose 1.7 lbs a week. We often look at the big picture and get that overwhelming feeling but if we break things down to small goals and start to create a new vision for ourselves of how we would look just losing 20 lbs. It may not seem like much but if you can start small and celebrate the little accomplishments over time many little achievements can add up to a much bigger victory in a couple of years.
