    I believe that someone did a survey and found that the average diet lasts 72 hours. Holy cow, was it the wrong diet for you or did somebody tell you it wasn’t worth it or did you tell that to yourself. I think it’s a pretty scary number to think we can only try to lose weight for 3 days and then pack it in. We’re not sure if the population is aware of how short of a time frame we can hold out for by trying to make some better choices. Perhaps it because there are so many fad diets and people are going from one to another with the slim hope that maybe this is the one, yes I’ve finally found the one for me, or is because we don’t have the proper mental mind set to go about losing weight and we are purely dealing with the physical side of weight loss and haven’t given any thought as to what it really means to stick to a new plan.  Lets see according to research it takes 30 to 60 days just to begin and they mean begin to learn a new habit and how we eat etc. is definitely a life long habit and the average diet lasts 72 hours so are we even giving ourselves a chance. I am not poking fun at anyone who has tried but just trying to make a point that we need to spend sometime time preparing how to go about losing weight and most of all we need to give ourselves a chance to succeed. It’s a long old road and the has to be a plan in place not just a credit card purchase and hope to make this journey but most of all we need to believe in ourselves.
