FatLoss4Idiots , features dieting methods and fat burning techniques focused on weight loss results without need for starvation. The popularity of this weight loss site reached its peaked in January 2005, when it took the 8th position as one of the most visited websites in the net.
Wholly owned and operated by Internet Made Simple, the website was previously named WeightLoss4Idiots until it assumed another web identity as FatLoss4Idiots in May 2005.
After quite some time of being of the most popular in the net, the company deemed it necessary to increase its price in mid 2007.
From a previous price of $27 to a new rate of $39, a member is entitled to 90 days access to the website and its series of dietary rules and meal plans. The “10 Idiot Proof Rules of Weight Loss” and an 11-day meal plan are some of the few samples of dietary information you can learn from the website.
The 11-day Meal Plan
This dietary regimen seems quite ambitious since it promises a 9-lbs weight loss in a span of 11 days. However, the rational behind their weight loss diet is aimed at triggering certain body hormones into a more energetic phase of fat burning activity. Fat storing hormones on the other hand will be less active. The weight loss plan also offers a scientific strategy of confusing body metabolism as a method of inducing a faster rate of fat loss through a diet called calorie shifting. What this website is suggesting is probably worth a try since there is something logical about their technique. Besides, eating less as in traditional diets does not guarantee weight loss in the proper sense of the word and you’ll never know which one works better unless you’ve tried both.
FatLoss4Idiot Diet Plan
FatLoss4Idiots Diet provides meal plans that are concerned with loading your body with food that provides nutrients at a controlled level but on a fuller scale. The meal plan is divided into 4 sets of meal to be consumed every 21/2 hours within the 11-day period. The control factor here deals with alternating the type of food you will ingest but has no limit as to the amount you can intake per meal. The fat burning hormone then will either be dealing with food that has generous fat or fewer fats to burn in any single eating spree. The aim here is to de-regularize whatever metabolism patterns your body became used to. This system then will cause you to lose weight if you continue with the meal plan for 11 days. After the 11-day period you will be allowed to eat anything you want for 3 days, and then shift back to the meal plan for the next 11 days.
Since the plan also places concern on your eating capacity and ability, the meal plan will be based on food preferences that you will select from a provided list.
The website’s online diet generator tool will generate the daily menu and readily computes calories contained in each meal. This then will be useful data for alternating the menu based on the amount of calorie you ingest. A constant change in the amount of calories being burned confuses the metabolism process eventually leading to weight loss.
The Idiot Proof Diet does not present any problems to vegetarians since their online diet generator has the capacity to plan meals for vegetarian members.
Try it, It Might Work
The FatLoss4Idiots diet does not promote eating less as a method of weight reduction so it seems it’s worth a try. Decrease in carbohydrate and recommendations for other weight loss regimen such as brisk-walking and increased water intake, are basic health practices that a typical dieter is already used to.
There is nothing radical or irrational with their method while their scientific explanations for shifting diets to confuse metabolism patterns are quite logical. The result in weight loss is highly probable but the 9lbs target is a see for your self matter.
Some responders have claimed that the FatLoss4Idiot diet worked better than the traditional calorie-reducing diets. In fact the 4lbs weight lost within 4 days which the responder claims is not too bad at all.

Other than appearance of physical looks, a person’s weight affects them in a lot of ways. It could effect their way of life, confidence, cause depression, health problems and physical limitations. There are many benefits a person can experience from weight loss. That is why people are looing for weight loss techniques that will help them lose pounds and gain a sexy body. A person wanting to start a weight loss program should first consult their doctor on how best to do so. A full check-up leads to the best weight loss technique. For effective weight loss three life style changes are required, behaviour, eating habits and activity level. Here’s some tips that can change an over-weight person’s life: 1: For fast weight loss, techniques such as proper mindset, exercise and in some cases diet supplements are required. Start with a diet plan that consists of fruit and veg. Include a exrcise plan, something like 15 minutes a day. Walking, jogging, swimming and dancing are all very helpful. 2: Set realistic goals. Keep focused. Have discipline and a positive mind set. These will help you lose weight quickly. It is important to keep focused as focus will help you acheive the desired results. 3: Everyone’s body metabolism reacts differently to different programs. Try different ones and select one which suits your body. Listen to your body, it might be trying to tell you something. If one plan is not working stop it and try another one. Keep an eye out to your body’s response. Your exercise should also be suitable to your body. Some people cannot exercise as rigorously as others can. If walking is all you can do then walk as much as you can as walking is proven to be the best exercise for losing weight. It is a good to put on a bit of muscle as muscles burn more calories that fats. A bit of muscle can also make you look fit and healthy. 4: Eat more fibers as it makes a person full quicker. Fibers stay in the stomach for longer and slow down the digestion process. Whole grains such as wholemeal bread moves quickly through digestive system. Grains increase the body’s insulin level by turning into blood sugar giving the body more energy. This tells the body when it should stop burning fats and start storing. 5: Keep away from fried food especial food which are deep friend like fish and chips. These contain high amount of fat. Even though white meat such as chicken and fish appear leaner than beef, when fried it can contain more fat than beef when it is fried. Grilled food is recommended for those on a strict diet as grilled food does not contain much fat after it has been cooked. 6: Drink plenty of fluid to stay hyderated. It is recommended that you drink at least six to eight glasses of water a day to keep the body refreshed. Weight loss depends on how the body removes waste so the body should stay hyderated. Disipline and consistency is the best way to go and the key to losing weight fast. Weight loss doesn’t have to be difficult, all it takes is a little bit of direction and commitment. Some dieting, workout and the right amount of supplements each day regularly can result in faster weight loss than an irregular plan and going back to old habits.

Although there are different procedures to help the obese patient reduce their weight, liposuction is not one of them. Liposuction is intended to help those of average or slightly above average weight to remove fat pockets that remain after a strict diet and exercise. For those who are looking for an easy way to lose weight, you can stop hoping that liposuction will provide that for you. It is unlikely a doctor is going to recommend an obese patient for liposuction since the procedure itself only removes about ten pounds of fat. It isn’t going to do much good for an obese patient to lose a mere ten pounds thus the reason doctors recommend that candidates for liposuction be as fit as possible and within average weight guidelines. The obese patient that has tried everything else to lose weight may see liposuction as an easy way to do what they have been unsuccessful at accomplishing losing weight. The problem is that there is no easy way to lose weight it takes commitment and work. In addition it takes a strict program of diet and exercise for the obese patient to reach the point where he or she qualifies as a candidate for liposuction. Only when a formerly obese patient reaches a normal weight does he or she become a good candidate for liposuction. Even then it will depend upon the success the patient has had with a strict exercise program to remove the fat without surgery. Before an obese patient should even consider liposuction, he or she must work vigorously on a diet and exercise program. A combination of aerobics such as swimming, walking or skiing along with resistance exercise such as working with free weights will assist the patient in burning calories that will in turn burn the fat. These exercises will speed the metabolism thus allowing the body to burn more calories than the patient consumes the key to weight loss. Utilizing this method will allow even the obese patient to burn fat and return to a normal weight. You may still have some fat pockets remaining, but you can then begin to discuss the options with your doctor or health care provider. Liposuction for the obese patient is just a goal he or she can work to achieve when the weight is within normal range. Even then the key is to remove as much fat as possible through exercise and use liposuction only in those areas that are resistant. You do not want to attempt to remove too much fat surgically because this is what increases the risks and recovery time of liposuction. Before you resort to liposuction try working specifically on those areas that appear resistant. If you still cannot eliminate the fat pockets you may be a good candidate for liposuction. Of course, your doctor will consider other factors as well before recommending liposuction, but you at least have more options available once you have reduced your weight and eliminated most of the fat in your body.
Katrin Rogers Sanders is a published author and knows her stuff concerning information about the reasons for which an obese patient cannot use the Liposuction like an easy procedure to reduce their weight.

Weight Loss Plan | Diet Plan | Dr Oz Diet approved program
Dr Oz Diet and weight loss plan from Julia Havey. A weight loss plan endorsed by Dr. Mehmet Oz. A diet plan that makes for easy weight loss. Start the diet program to lose weight that has been used successfully by thousands of former overweight peoplFor thousands of years green tea has been used by both the Chinese and Japanese as both an herbal medicine and a beverage. Recently the use of this tea as an herbal medicine gained notice in the western world as a part of the medical profession. The antioxidant and chemotherapuetic effects of the green tea have been studied in recent years. Both Switzerland and the United States have conducted recent research that indicates a strong connection between green tea and weight loss. An issue of the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition and Urology published in December 1999, indicated a study where certain compounds in green tea extracts might promote weight loss. A group of ten healthy young men under went a research study at the University of Geneva under Dr. Abdul Dulloo. The men, who ranged in size from lean to mildly overweight, were given a typical American diet. With each meal the men were asked to take a capsule of green tea and caffeine. The results showed that more calories were burned on average by the men who took green tea capsules. This showed that it might not be a myth at all when it comes to the connection between green tea and weight loss. Green Tea and the Fight Against Fat The idea that green tea can be an active combatant against fat may be another way that green tea and losing weight may be connected. The fat content of a body must be reduced in order to truly lose weight and get healthy. A recent study showed that every day for three months those who drank a bottle of tea fortified with green tea lost more body fat than those who drank regular oolong tea. There seems to be a link between green tea and losing weight even if the exact connection isn’t known, at least in the case of losing fat. Another Possible Connection Between Green Tea and Losing Weight Another reason why green tea and losing weight might be connected wasn’t mentioned in the above studies. This is the fact that green tea, unlike any other tea, has the ability to satisfy people. There is a good possibility that a person will eat less and thus lose weight by drinking a glass or two with a meal. In addition you can’t rob your body of hydration with green tea since there are no sugars or additives that causes fat and water weight to stay on the body rather than being shed as calories are burned.

One of the most effective ways to lose weight is to track what you eat. Tracking what you eat is a way to assess your eating patterns. By writing down everything you eat, you learn exactly what you eat and how it affects you. You can detect patterns and eating behaviors and how they impact your weight loss goals. Many people underestimate how much food they actually consume. Many wonder why they start a diet and can’t seem to shed the pounds. One reason is that people underestimate the quantity they eat. What people think of as a single serving can actually be equivalent to three or even four servings. A triple-sized portion can greatly impact your weight loss success. Another reason is hidden calories – what some people think of as a healthy snack is actually loaded with calories that head straight to your thighs. Learning how to track your food and calorie intake is a great way to take charge of your weight loss plan and have it work for you. Start out by writing down everything you eat. Don’t change your eating habits until you know what your eating habits are. Record every morsel – from the cream cheese on your breakfast bagel to the duck sauce on your stir-fry. Write down portions and amounts of what you eat as well. Check for servings sizes and measure portions you consume. Just as importantly, track your calorie intake. That duck sauce might seem harmless – but in reality be loaded with calories. Understanding how many calories you consume is an important element of weight loss. The amount of calories you consume and the amount of calories you burn determines whether or not you lose weight. So knowing how many calories you consume is crucial to your success. Although it may seem daunting, there are resources that can make your calorie tracking easy and stress-free. Electronic calorie counters can provide you with the calories count of thousands of your favorite foods. Calorie counters can even tell you the calorie count of your favorite fast food items. So whether you are at home or on the go, an electronic calorie counter will help you stick to your weight loss plan. Once you’ve determined how much you actually eat and the number of calories you consume, you can then look at changes you may need to make. By tracking how much you eat, you can see over a period of time how your food consumption affects your weight loss. You can also congratulate yourself for healthy habits you may not have known you have. Tracking what you eat provides you with the tools to be successful at losing weight and managing your goal weight once you’ve shed the pounds.

You’d think that those of us who love food the most are the ones who would also weigh the most. (You know the saying, never trust a thin cook.) But that’s not quite the case. While it’s true that some gourmets are overweight after years of enjoying the finer things in life, most people who want to lose weight eat the same old meals over and over again and, generally, the meals they eat are far from exquisite. The problem for most overweight people is the sheer quantity of food. A love of piling your plate high and snacking on high calorie junk food and drinks can soon pile on the pounds. It’s not usually sampling rich and varied cuisine with fine wines that does it. You see to love something is also to treat it with respect and true food lovers appreciate food for its taste, texture and presentation. Do you always take the time to experience everything there is to appreciate about your meal? To truly enjoy food you need to taste it slowly. Almost without exception I have found a link between being overweight and the speed of making food disappear from the plate. If you always clear your plate before others are finished you may want to think about that. But then maybe the food you eat is not worth lingering over. If that’s the case, it’s not difficult to upgrade the quality of your food. Excellent ingredients are available everywhere without costing an arm and a leg and you’ll find simple recipes all over the internet. Why would you put up with anything less than good healthy delicious food when it is available to everyone as easily as any other kind of food? 1. But I Always Eat…. We often inherit our eating habits from our families and end up cooking the same kinds of meals. Or we have a trusted repertoire of a few dishes and rarely venture beyond the usual meals we make. But there are NO LIMITS to how delicious food can be. Why limit yourself when there is a world of delicious food out there for the taking? 2. I Can’t Be Bothered… It does take a little time and effort to find new recipes but if you are shopping and cooking anyway, you may as well shop for and cook something delicious and healthy rather than the same old meals all the time. You don’t have to completely change your diet - just try a out a new recipe every once in a while to give your meals a whole new lease of life. 3. I Didn’t Know…. Maybe you just haven’t thought about what you are missing by eating the same foods all the time. You might like the food you have now but if you want to lose weight something has to change. You can just eat less of the foods you always eat (and sometimes you need to eat a lot less if you have been piling your plate with high calorie foods) or you could upgrade your food and eat modest portions of delicious nutritious life-enhancing meals. Sometimes people who start a healthy eating plan find that despite their fears they end up enjoying their food more than ever especially if they are adventurous enough to try new recipes and food items they hadn’t considered before. Not every new recipe will be a hit with you but you are sure to find some winners which will enhance your mealtimes for years to come. If your experience of losing weight in the past has all been about restriction and deprivation try thinking about your weight loss program in a new way. Consider the huge opportunity you have to upgrade the food you eat to include meals you will truly love and which will keep your body healthy in years to come too. Gastric bypass surgery may seem like an extreme measure, but it’s quickly becoming more widely accepted as a weight loss method. If you are seriously overweight or obese you have most likely considered undergoing gastric bypass surgery to help you manage your weight and health. Although there are other options besides gastric bypass surgery to help you in this endeavor, this procedure appears to be frighteningly popular. Ever since celebrities such as Carney Wilson have undergone the procedure, more and more people have turned on to the idea of having gastric bypass surgery. c is a surgical procedure in which a portion of the stomach is closed off. The stomach is rerouted to the intestinal system and the rest of your stomach is stapled off but remains inside you. Therefore, after gastric bypass surgery food bypasses a part of the stomach. You eat less because your stomach gets fuller quicker. You eat less and consume less weight producing calories. One thing you should know, is that gastric bypass surgery is incredibly risky and permanently alters your body. The stomach is rerouted to the intestinal system and the rest of your stomach is stapled off but remains inside you. Gastric bypass surgery reduces the amount of food the patient can take in. The food a patient takes in does not have the same opportunity to be absorbed into the system as it once did. Because of this, one of the risks associated with gastric bypass surgery is malnutrition so anyone who has undergone this procedure must keep a good eye on the quality of food they are consuming. If the surgery also includes bypassing a part of the intestine, you can lose even more weight because the body does not absorb the food you do eat. Again, you get fewer calories. Gastric bypass surgery usually requires a four or five day hospital stay and a person is usually fully recovered with in a month or so. There are some after effects to gastric bypass surgery. It is generally called dumping. That occurs when the food passes too quickly through the stomach. Symptoms include nausea, weakness, sweating, faintness, and possibly diarrhea soon after eating. This procedure is usually done on people that meet the following conditions if you have been obese for five years or more, you may qualify. If you do not have a history of alcohol abuse and are between 18 and 65 years old, the doctor may consider gastric bypass surgery. In addition, you must not have an untreated depression or another major psychiatric disorder. Gastric bypass surgery does have some risks though. There are the normal risks associated with any surgery. These might include a blood clot that could lead to a stroke. A person might experience an infection. Some studies have shown that about one-third of all people having surgery for obesity develop gallstones or a nutritional deficiency condition such as anemia or osteoporosis. The benefits of gastric bypass surgery are almost immediate weight loss. People who have gastric bypass surgery tend to continue to lose weight for the first 12 months. Long-term weight loss benefits look like this. One study found that most people lost one-third of their excess weight in one to four years after the surgery procedure. There are some other thinks to be concerned with a gastric bypass surgery. Doctors tell us that the part of the intestine where many minerals and vitamins are most easily absorbed is bypassed. Because of this, you may have a deficiency in iron, calcium, magnesium, or vitamins. As with other elective surgery, you have to balance the weight loss benefits of gastric bypass surgery with the potential risks.

You can’t look anywhere these days without seeing something to do with weight loss. Whether it’s a new miracle drug, routine, meal replacement, or large-scale diet, you can see just how obsessed our culture is with losing weight. While many of these solutions do in fact work, they all have one intrinsic problem – they’re difficult to keep up for long periods of time. Most of them are either very costly, time consuming, or require incredible amounts of effort or discipline that cause most who attempt them to quit after a while. This doesn’t really help keep weight off forever. There are a lot of little and simple things that, while their results may not be dramatic or very fast, are much easier to ingrain permanently into our lifestyles to help you keep lost weight off for good! The key factor here is to keep things small and simple. – To change all of the little things that add up and cause your body to put extra weight on. A lot of times, it’s the small things we do on a day by day basis that are a big factor in why we gain weight. – And fortunately, these things are small enough that they are not hard to overcome. Here we’re going to talk about two easy things you can do to start on the road to losing weight! The first thing anyone who’s trying to lose weight needs to do is build up at least a little bit of lean muscle. Muscle at rest burns dramatically more calories than fat. – For example, if you have ten pounds of fat, then throughout the day you aren’t burning nearly as many calories as you would if you had, say, ten pounds of muscle. Make sure to partake in low-key toning exercises, such as Pilates, sit-ups and push-ups, etc. You don’t have to spend very long on these things each day, and you can easily implement them into any busy schedule. Another good thing to do is try to walk as much as you possibly can. – Park farther away from the grocery store than you normally would, take the stairs instead of the elevator, take your dog on a walk. – There are so many things you can do to help your body burn more calories throughout the day, and even more importantly, you’re going to be slowly building lean muscle, which will make it so that you burn even more calories! Obviously, weight problems can come from food problems. It’s true that we don’t get the nutrition that we should, but the biggest way we hurt ourselves weight-wise is actually with the amount of food we eat. First off, a lot of little snacks throughout the day can add up to a lot of weight. These are the easiest things to put off – try not to overdo it on the between-meal snacking. A good way to help with this is by never doing your grocery shopping while you are hungry – this helps prevent you from loading up on delicious snacks that you just won’t be able to steer clear of during the week! Also, buying healthy snacks is a good idea – this way, whenever you do decide you want a little something to hold you over, it’s good for you. This isn’t the whole battle, however – stuffing yourself at meals can be a real problem. Remember that you should never eat to be full – you should eat to avoid hunger. Packing away as much as you can eat isn’t good for you, and it’s not the way your body was intended. Back off on those big meals, and you’ll be surprised at how fast the weight will drop. These tips aren’t going to cause the weight to melt off of you in the first few days, but rest assured that they will work. The important note to consider is that these are things that are simple to incorporate into your lifestyle so that you won’t ever have to worry about your weight becoming an issue again in the future. The advantage in this small-step system is that not only can anyone start it, you also have the power to determine how far you want to take it. If you want to lose just a few pounds, or if you want to seriously tone down, the choice is yours.

There’s a well-known old Chinese saying which can be applied to many situations "Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime." The same holds true with losing weight. There’s no doubt that if you follow a typical weight loss program with meal plans and exercise routines to the letter you will bed "fed" all the right information to lose weight. But the trouble is as soon as you stop following your prescribed regime you are lost and the weight piles back on again. You have not learnt how to deal with the real world of business trips and birthday parties, Thanksgiving dinners and Halloween, bad days and holidays. You have been spoon fed a "fish" - a diet plan with all you need to know in the short term to lose weight. For permanent weight loss you have to learn the lifetime skills of losing weight and keeping it off no matter what the occasion and you have to know those skills so well that they come easily and naturally to you. That’s when you know you are ready for a lifetime of fitness and health. You have been taught the "fishing" skills you need to know. So what are the skills that you need to learn? Surprisingly the skills you need to learn for lifetime weight loss are quite simple though we still insist time after time again on going after the short term diet fix. Maybe it’s because the skills still take practise to learn (the same as any other skill) before they come naturally and we’d rather not make the effort - believing somehow that the short term diet fix will serve us for life. And of course it won’t. The lifetime weight loss skills are such simple things as eating a moderate amount of food at most meals, eating only when you are hungry, selecting the best most delicious foods to eat and enjoying them fully and being more active as you go about your everyday life. They don’t need any special intellect or equipment. They can be adapted to any circumstances. They can be learnt and adapted gradually - one step at a time. But instead there we are year after year - one year trying this fish (The Plaice Diet) the next year trying another (The Cod Plan) - and never ever focusing on the skills that will make diets redundant. Are you scrabbling around looking for a weight loss plan to follow just now that will work for you for once and for all? Why not make this year different and learn the skills it takes to be slim for life? Copyright 2006, Janice Elizabeth Small

Our bodies are made up of over 75% water. We all know that without water, there is no life. In fact we can only live 3 days without it. However, water has been replaced in most diets by soft drinks and other sugar sweetened refreshments. However, water is a healthier and more necessary drink that leads to better health and longetivity. Your personal need for water can vary due to exercise, temperature and weight. Studies have shown that over 2/3’s of adults do not get enough water on a daily basis. By simply drinking water regularly you can replenish your body and keep it well-hydrated and functioning at maximum efficiency. Most of us wait until we are thirsty to drink water. However, this is not a reliable gauge of the water needs that our body has. By the time we are thirsty we have already lost two or more cups of our body’s composition of water. Therefore drinking water regularly is a much better answer than waiting until one is thirsty. It is also very important to not substitute beverages with alcohol and caffeine for water. The reason for this is that these beverages act as a diuretic and cause you to lose more water through increased urination. You think you are getting water through these beverages but the fact is they are causing you to let it go almost as quickly as it accumulates. When you work out you need more water. This makes elementary sense. Our bodies lose a great deal of water due to perspiration. In fact we need to drink 2 cups of water for each pound lost through working out. Even when we sleep our bodies lose water. Drinking a glass of water before we go to sleep and when we wake up helps to offset this loss and keep our bodies functioning optimally. It should be obvious that when we are sick our bodies need more water than at other times. When we have a cold or flu our bodies can become dehydrated. You can prevent this by drinking more water at times you are sick. There are numerous opinions on whether purified water actually provides a tangible benefit. It is a subject you should explore yourself in determining the type of water that is appropriate for you. The same applies to exactly how much is enough? Below you will find some articles dealing with this subject. The best way to find out what you need is to simply set a goal to drink a certain number of glasses and then after a week or two see how it has effected you. Make it a habit to drink water daily. Keep a bottle with you at all times and drink it throughout the day. Learn to drink water rather than other beverages that do not replenish your body’s nutrients. Drink water daily and watch yourself become healthier and happier.
